What is EE and ER?

The SMS sent would have the PF balance distributed between EE and ER?
EE - Total contribution to PF balance by Employee
ER - Total contribution to PF balance by Employer

    (EE X 2) + ER = Total PF Amount
    Where,
    EE is Employer & Employee's Share
    ER is Other Receivables by Employee (including interest)

      My EE amount is 5231/- and ER amount is 1599/-..
      So does dat mean I wil b getting 12061/-?

    I HAVE A DOUBT IF MY SMS SHOWS EE IS AMOUNT:1255 AND ER IS AMOUNT 5555 HOW TO KNOW THE TOTAL PF BALANCE FRM THIS. COULD ANYONE HELP ME

    mine is quite opposite. the EE shows an amount and the ER shows 50% less. Does that mean the ER has not fully submitted the amount?

    Hi, I checked my EPF Balance and it Shows EE as Rs 12723 and ER as Rs 3889 A/c updated till 31-3-2012, As per my knowledge Employer Contribution and Employee Contribution should be same, So why its showing different Amt and kindly let me know how to calculate EPF.

    My SMS shows EE Amt: Rs 2296 , ER Amt :RS 711 as on 25-3-2014 ( Accounts updated upto 31-03-2014)

    I have the query regarding the accounts update which is still last financial year.

    Hiii ..... my ee was 22500 and my er was 10300. when i aplied for pf i was given an amount of 17000. what is happened to the rest of the amount?? will they take a huge amont as tax since I withdrew it b4 5 yrs?

    Hie.. My EE Balance as per the SMS is Rs 212 while the ER amount as depicted is Rs 65.. As per the following details, My PF value is Rs 489/- (212*2) + 65. Is it true or shall I fight with my Organisation ?
    While my deductions as per a SMS received is Rs 931/- ..

    EE means employee contribution
    ER means employer contribution
    EE+ER+INTEREST = TOTAL PF BALANCE
